This is a static personal portfolio with no contact forms and no advertising. It does use Google Analytics, but only if you agree to it first. Until you press Accept on the cookie notice, nothing is stored on or read from your device, and no analytics cookies are set. If you press No thanks, none are set at all, and the site works exactly the same either way.
I use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and which links they click. I do not run ads, build advertising audiences, or share this data with anyone.

Your legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG), and you can withdraw it any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
If you accept, Google receives your truncated IP address, browser and device type, the page that referred you, and the pages and links you interact with. It is kept for 14 months. Google may process it outside the EU under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Their terms: policies.google.com/privacy.

This site is served by a third-party hosting provider. Like any web server, the host may automatically process technical data your browser sends with each request (such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of access) to deliver the page and maintain security. This is based on the legitimate interest of operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are handled by the hosting provider and are not used by me to identify you.
This site links to external services (e.g. LinkedIn, email). Once you follow such a link, this policy no longer applies; please refer to the privacy policy of the respective service.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to object, plus the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was lawful beforehand. If you never accepted the cookie notice, there is no analytics data about you to exercise these rights against. If you did accept and want it removed, email me and I will delete it. You may also complain to a supervisory authority.
